Overview
The Pulsafeeder PULSAtron Series E chemical metering pumps use a positive displacement diaphragm design. While the pumps are in operation, the output volume can be adjusted from zero to maximum capacity. The PULSAtron Series E pump has manual control via an on-line changeable stroke rate and stroke length. It has received regulatory approval for use in severe outdoor and indoor environments. Series E is internally dampened to reduce noise, making it ideal for domestic applications. It is also water resistant, making it suitable for outdoor installation. It includes guided ball check valve devices to prevent backflow and improve priming performance. Series E has few moving parts and is easily wall mountable. The advanced seat and ball designs of Series E guided check valves provide for precise seating and excellent priming and suction lift characteristics. Our timing circuit is highly reliable and, by design, virtually unaffected by temperature, EMI and other electrical disturbances. Series E pumps continue to meet their specifications for pressure and capacity even during extended use. It also features safe and easy priming with durable leak-free bleed valve assembly.

Drive Assembly
The pump drive is completely enclosed and has no exposed working parts. The electronics are enclosed in a chemical-resistant container at the pump’s rear for optimal protection against chemical spills. The average electric power use is 130 watts.

Pump Controls
Adjustment is by means of readily accessible dial knobs, one for changing stroke length and the other for changing stroke frequency. Both knobs are located opposite the liquid handling end.

Materials of Construction
See Specifications tab. Chemical metering pump housing shall be of chemically resistant PBT thermoplastic. All exposed fasteners are stainless steel. Valve seat and seal ring are renewable by replacing the cartridge valve assembly.
