Overview
The Pulsafeeder PULSAtron Series A Plus chemical metering pumps use a positive displacement diaphragm design. While the pumps are in operation, the output volume can be adjusted from zero to maximum capacity. PULSAtron Series A Plus guided check valves, with their cutting-edge seat and ball designs, offer precise seating as well as exceptional priming and suction life. The out timing circuit is extremely reliable and, by design, is nearly immune to temperature, EMI, and other electrical disturbances. Series A Plus pumps continue to meet pressure and capacity criteria even after extended use. This is due to our high-quality solenoid and unique enclosure, which effectively dissipate heat. Agency Approved and water-resistant for tough outdoor and indoor applications.
The Drive Assembly
The pump drive is completely enclosed and has no exposed working parts. The electronics are enclosed in a chemical-resistant container at the pump’s rear for optimal protection against chemical spills. The average electric power use is 50 watts.
Pump Controls
Adjustment is by means of readily accessible dial knobs, one for changing stroke length and the other for changing stroke frequency. Both knobs are located opposite the liquid handling end.
Materials of Construction
See Specifications tab. Chemical metering pump housing shall be of chemically resistant PBT thermoplastic. All exposed fasteners are stainless steel. Valve seat and seal ring are renewable by replacing the cartridge valve assembly.
